BANKÉ
Banke Naya is a Nigerian-born, UK-based Afro Soul artist and composer whose music is inspired by personal experiences, growth and love. Her first single, Mirror, was released in 2018, marking the start of her recording career. Since then, she has continued to refine her sound.
She has performed on platforms such as, BBC Introducing Main stage at the Northampton Music Festival, Britain's Got Talent with the NSO Choir, which was directed by Gareth Fuller and Make Music Lagos Nigeria.
She has received numerous accolades and been nominated for R&B/Afrobeats/Dancehall/Reggae Artist of the Year at the Northamptonshire Music Awards (LMAs), including Shay Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Rhythm & Poesy Awards, in appreciation of her skill and impact on the local music scene.
She won the prestigious Artist of the Year (Diaspora) award at the 2026 Coolwealth Awards, establishing herself as a leading African voice in the diaspora and her most recent song, Baby Tornado, has received favourable reviews from listeners and even hit number two on the Nigerian iTunes chart.
